Too Good To Go is a mobile app with the aim to reduce food waste in the world. We connect companies that have a surplus of food with consumers who come to pick it up for a reduced price. This reduces waste and also saves our customers money. We have already saved more than 2.5 million meals in Europe since our launch in Denmark at the end of 2015. Too Good To Go has recently been launched in the Netherlands with a success above expectations, so we are now looking for reinforcement in Business Development for the Amsterdam office.
The ideal candidate believes in our mission and is motivated to further develop his or her sales skills in an international and fast-growing organization with a revolutionary product. You are communicative strong, sure of your business and you are motivated by the challenge to convince busy entrepreneurs.
You work together with the rest of the team in an inspiring start-up environment in Amsterdam. You can also get in touch with colleagues from the head office or other countries where we are active. Actively explore the market to find interesting prospectsCreate leads in your work area and follow these leads to add new locations to the Too Good To Go platformPro-actively call potential stores and build relationships. You will have to find the right stores, approach them and board them via e-mail, telephone and visitsDevelop management of the relationship with your accounts and partnerships with customersOrganize meetings with shops and chains to perform demonstrationsYou use our tools to effectively onboard new stores and also coach them for their successYou will work with weekly and monthly targets and KPIs
We value personality over your work history and diplomas. Sales experience is an advantage but not necessary. We expect the following criteria:You are passionate about food waste, this is a must!Fluency in Dutch and an excellent English is requiredYou have strong communication skills and feel at ease when approaching people via e-mail, telephone and face-to-faceYou are persuasive, confident, flexible and a quick learner who is ready to operate in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
