Founders4Schools is a pioneering Edtech Charity whose mission is to inspire students and prepare them for the rapidly changing world of work.
Our aim is to increase the chance of employability for young people, by breaking down barriers for young people in disadvantaged areas.
We enable educators and young people to access volunteer ‘role models’ from employers across their community, whilst in the process grow the talent pipeline for those employers.
To date, we have helped over 265,000 young people gain experience of the world of work through the brokering of almost 900,000 Student Employer Encounters.
These posts are part-time posts of 24 hours per week and are for the period up to 2021.
The salary for each post is £25,000 (pro rata from a full time salary of £41,667)
Home-based and Community – Scotland
The post-holders will report to the Chief Executive, who is based in London and Glasgow.
We are looking for two candidates who have an excellent track record of developing and maintaining relationships on a variety of levels, showing dedication in prior roles and who are hungry for success and the challenges that accompany achieving success.
You will be the key point of contact for our teacher and business leaders across Scotland, working closely with DYW Groups and other key stakeholders. One of your key contributions will be to build relationships with schools and business leaders to ensure the highest penetration of our services. You will also interact with our local partners who range from Government bodies, to local Corporates and Associations and not-for-profit organisations. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to own the day-to-day communication with these partners and you will also be expected to meet them in person at various events. You will also be our local platform power user and train teachers and other users on our various tools.
