what you’ll be doing
We are looking for a Finance Systems Business Manager to lead part of the finance workstream end to end for an implementation of a new core finance system for an 18 month fixed term contract. We have had our core financial system for 12 years and whilst it has been a good friend our European growth and future aspirations mean we now need to upgrade to something a bit newer and flashier.
You will lead the process design, testing, training and ultimately implementation of our finance workstreams making sure that we maximise the opportunity from improved processes efficiency, compliance and ways of working that a new system affords.
This role would be suitable for someone who is able to join us for an immediate start.
A finance qualification with experience of working either in a finance team or within practice. You will ideally be technically savvy and maybe have experience of systems implementations previously. You will love driving change, leaving things better than you found them and working with a variety of stakeholders across the business to get to the best possible outcomes.
To work on a major financial systems implementation project from concept to post go-live becoming a SME in the one of the latest cloud based finance systems.
You will get also get a detailed understanding of how our finance processes work, how to ensure the right control environment and where we add value to the business and the ability to influence and shape these for the future.
You will be part of the overall project team and get great project management exposure and the opportunity to work with many internal and external stakeholders as well as senior managers on a high profile project.
