We are looking for a Financial Analyst to help us scale our accounting operations in the US. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to execute accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is deadline driven, collaborative, high-energy, and passionate about transforming healthcare.
Monitor all aspects of the organization’s finances in relation to revenues and expenditures
Maintain general ledgers including: accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, cash disbursements, journal entries, month-end and year-end close
Work with international counterparts to adapt best practices to US offices
Complete monthly bank reconciliations for various accounts
Daily cash handling, management, and budgets
Prepare cash flow reports on a weekly basis
Prepare financial statements
Prepare annual tax returns
Special projects and reports
3+ years’ experience, preferably in tech or a startup environment
CPA highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail
Highly resourceful self-learner, with the ability to operate effectively independently
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, management, external partners, and customers
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to pitch in and assist with other projects and share responsibilities on an as needed basis
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google suite of productivity applications
Passionate about making healthcare more accessible and affordable
Must live in the greater New York market, and willing to commute to Brooklyn
Bachelor’s degree required, from an Ivy-league school is a plus
