what you’ll be doing
This has been a great year. We’ve expanded into new regions, produced loads of new products, won awards (but we don’t like to talk about them, ahem) and of course recruited lots of new people. And, we’re not resting on our laurels, we’ve big plans for the rest of the year and through to 2020 (and beyond)
But, to get to where we want to be, we need to find an HR coordinator to help support our people team across the areas of talent, recruitment and L&D.
As our HR coordinator – known internally as a talent coordinator – this is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in, and learn about the world of HR.
You’ll be joining the People Team (our version of HR) to support our team. You could be helping the recruitment team in booking and arranging interviews, managing diaries and meeting rooms, organising contracts and being the point of contact with candidates. Or, working with L&D to help arrange our workshops, managing attendance and feedback and supporting the L&D manager. Or involved in the many adhoc projects we have all the time. Either way it will be your job to make sure everyone involved in the process has a great experience and one that’s consistent with our values.
There’s always more to do than time to do it and we have pretty high standards (we’re a demanding bunch) so you’ll need to have the organisational skills of an air traffic controller combined with Jedi-like influencing skills.
You’ll be a ‘right first time’ kind of person but not precious about it. You’ll hold your hand up when you’ve dropped the ball and be open to feedback. You’ll also be able to take a step back and think about how things could be done better.
It’d be great if we had perfect info to work with at all times, but we don’t, so you’ll need to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and have the confidence to crack on regardless.
The previous talent coordinator moved into a more senior role in the business, so this is definitely an opportunity to build your career in HR. But, you’ll need to bring you’re A-game, even on your worst days.
In return for everything you can bring we can offer you an exciting, challenging role in a fast-growing and dynamic business with plenty of career opportunities in the UK and across Europe as well as a competitive rewards package. We also have some great clubs, a free breakfast and as many smoothies as you can shake a stick at. Take a look at our reward page for more details.
If you think you have everything we’re looking for and more, then we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll need to get your skates on though, as applications close on 12th May.
Dolly Parton may have worked Nine to Five but you don’t have to. We’re all about being healthy and happy here at innocent so we’re open to a chat about flexible working. No promises, but we reckon that if it’s good for you, then it’s good for us.
