We are looking for a people business partner to lead change management projects and act as a strategic partner and principal advisor to leadership of our businesses for all human capital matters. As the HRBP, you’ll partner with business leaders to help leverage talent to grow the business. The ideal candidate is deadline driven, collaborative, high-energy, and passionate about transforming healthcare.
Be accountable for the delivery of core People Ops services: advising on team- or department-specific compensation, benefits, recruiting, organizational structure, and talent development strategies
Proactively build relationships with business leaders and employees, gaining trust and credibility with key stakeholders.
Understand the business as a whole and be proactive in supporting managers, employees, and broader People Operations team in creating a great workplace.
Provide expertise in development and execution, planning, and facilitation of employee relations efforts
Partner with managers to build KPIs to help optimize their team’s engagement and productivity.
Develop people-oriented programs to positively impact change management
Assess employee development needs and make recommendations for appropriate solutions
Deliver appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and employees
Partner with managers and broader People Operations team to resolve sensitive employee-relations situations including conducting thoughtful, thorough, and objective investigations & termination processes.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, consulting with legal counsel as needed/required
1-2 years of specific HR business partner or relevant experience (start-up/tech industry experience preferred)
3-5+ years of full-time professional work experience (business and HR experience preferred)
A strong understanding and experience with HR best practices and employee relations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail
Highly resourceful self-learner, with the ability to operate effectively independently
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, management, external partners, and customers
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to pitch in and assist with other projects and share responsibilities on an as needed basis
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google suite of productivity applications
Passionate about making healthcare more accessible and affordable
Must live in the greater New York market, and willing to commute to Brooklyn
Bachelor’s degree required, from an Ivy-league school is a plus
PHR certification is preferred
