Babylon is looking for an People & Performance Partner who will partner with our growing Clinical & Operations teams. As we move toward escape velocity, you will be a trusted advisor to the senior leadership within your client group. With your bias toward solution-driven outcomes and problem solving, you’ll support your business areas to scale and thrive.

This role will be supported by centres of excellence across Organisational Design, Talent Acquisition, Engagement and Shared Services – do deliver high-performance People programmes that support our leaders to accelerate the growth of the business and our People. From succession & workforce planning, to shaping how we run our performance conversations – you will be at the centre of all decisions related to your business and customer area.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and thoughtful leader with a transparent and collaborative leadership style, the ability to inspire others into action and to think creatively about solutions. The right person for this role must have comfort with ambiguity, with a propensity to thrive in fast-paced and delivery-oriented environments.
As a HR Business Partner your main responsibilities will include:-
Work with other People & Performance Business Partners and areas of expertise to deliver the people agenda aligned to the Company’s People strategy in both customer and non-customer facing business teams.
Engage respective Business areas with strategic People agenda so stakeholders understand the associated activity and are clear on their own and their team’s accountabilities for delivering and embedding it.
Share internal and external insights to raise awareness of current and anticipated opportunities, challenges and risks to inform current and future people related decisions and activity.
Use commercial understanding of the business to ensure all people activity that is planned is consistent with current and future business needs and is aligned to business objectives, raising any concerns or risks in a timely and appropriate way.
Contract with key stakeholders and builds trust and confidence across both the customer and non-customer facing teams to support delivery of the people agenda.
Have a broad overview of each AOE, the key deliverables and oversight of how these link to ensure a joined up approach in business areas including:
Talent acquisition, where you will be involved in recruitment panels for senior leadership roles
Employee relations, where you will be a trusted adviser to your client groups
Engagement, where you’ll form strong relationships with stakeholders and “monitor the pulse” of all things happening in your business area.
Performance managementTalent and succession planning
Minimum skills and experience required:
Knowledge and experience of working within a fast paced and evolving organisation and experience of partnering stakeholders within these businesses
Comfortable with change and able to work at pace
Senior stakeholder management experience is essential
Experience in organisational design and reward frameworks is preferable
CIPD membership or equivalent qualification
Strong understanding of MS Office (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems (e.g. Workday) would be advantageous.
