babylon seek a talented copywriter to shape our voice through all aspects of our communications as a company – from digital to PR to in-app and beyond, with the prime objectives of building our brand voice and increasing engagement. The successful candidate will have a diverse portfolio of consumer, B2B and corporate focused work, across multiple channels and mediums.
What will you be doing?
To be the owner of the Babylon tone of voice across all internal and external communications
Together with the team, to create compelling, future-facing and on-brand campaigns
To combine business objectives, marketing messages and product details to create brilliant words that spur the reader to take action, or inspire them to love us
Create human and empathetic messages for marketing campaigns and collateral
To effectively manage a busy and high-pressure workload, ensuring thorough briefs are received for each project
Bringing on less experienced colleagues through positivity and support
We’re looking for
Buckets of imagination and ability to think differently, with 10+ years copywriting experience
A top-class portfolio
To be collaborative by nature, be that with the immediate colleagues or wider teams
Have experience of working on highly successful consumer brands
Experience of a start-up environment and commercially aware
Experience with MailChimp and Content Management Systems
Ideally but not essential; time spent as a journalist – naturally enquiring, distilling key information
Expertise in writing for consumer digital channels
