What do we want?
We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Project Manager who will help coordinate product delivery across multiple AI and engineering teams at Babylon. We have approximately ten teams ranging from AI (ML, NLP, Diagnostics, Semantic Web) to back end systems to mobile clients (iOS, Android) to QA and Tech Ops. Most projects we run have cross-dependencies across the teams. We need somebody to work with team leads on figuring out the right schedule and cross-dependencies, and ensure that our products are delivered in a timely and orderly manner.
Build strong partnership relationships with AI, Engineering, Product, QA, and Ops teams.
Work with these teams on defining end-to-end project delivery schedules
Work across teams to understand cross-dependencies and able to negotiate effectively to resolve issues.
Track project schedules and remove roadblocks for the teams
Report progress to executives and the rest of the company.
At least 3 years of experience of working as a Project Manager for highly technical cross-team projects.
Working with a team of at least 30 (our team is considerably larger)
Understanding of various software development methodologies, but not being religious about any one of them.
Startup experience is a must
Amazing oral and written communication skills
The right attitude: must accomplish their job by building partnerships and helping others rather than “driving” them.
